İlker Tsavousoglou

İlker Tsavousoglou is a founding partner of Vis Juris Law Firm and an Attorney at Law registered with the Rhodope Bar Association.

He holds a Bachelor Degree in Law from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (2006). He obtained a Masters in Law (LL.M.) from Democritus University of Thrace, Greece (2013). Currently he is a PhD research fellow affiliated with Ghent University, Belgium. He is also member of the Human Rights Centre of the same institution. İlker Tsavousoglou is also member of the European Society of International Law / Société Européenne de Droit International as well as editor for Harvard University’s Sharia Source project.

In the context of legal practice, İlker Tsavousoglou, engages with issues of Civil law while focusing on cases of Family, Inheritance/Succession, Property and Tort law.

From the academic point of view, Ilker Tsavousoglou, is concerned with the study of and research on International law with emphasis on Human Rights and Legal Pluralism. İlker Tsavousoglou has attended various academic events and conferences both in Greece and abroad where he presented his academic studies (Athens 2013, Bonn 2013, Oslo 2014, Trento 2016).
